Abstract:- My idea proposes for a 3d printed nose which can improve the food taste of astronauts, the nose prop has a small chamber to store a small piece of food item, the aroma from the food is directed directly into the nose of astronaut in zero G environment enabling better taste. Detailed description:- Problem:- It is almost impossible to taste food without nose, in space due to microgravity the aroma from food don’t reach the nose of the astronaut which makes their food tasteless and astronauts don’t like it Solution:- A simple 3D printed nose attachment similar to a nose clown which the astronauts can wear while having food with the help of a rubber band. A small piece of food item can be placed in the bottom hemisphere of the nose attachment and can be fixed in place like a bottle cap. The aroma from the food combines with air entering from surrounding through the two air intake holes and passes directly to the nose. The mesh in the upper half of the hemisphere prevents the food from entering the nose and ensure that only aroma enters the nose because of which the astronaut can get the complete taste of the delicious food that they are eating. This will help food taste better in space for all astronauts with this pitch all space agencies can help with sponsorship to explore this as an experiment in space. For brand sponsoring we can look for any food company in Germany that offers delicious & tasty food, I don't want to name them particularly. It will be huge for these companies as their food will now taste better even in space.
